2013-14 Programs Schedule
March 19 – Community Profile…Women, Culture and Economics – Speaker: Jan Figart, Community Service Council | 11:30am | Philbrook Museum of Art | Register Now through March 14th
Eight key drivers have created the perfect storm in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the nation – aging of the population, changes in culture, limited jobs opportunities for the mass of low-skilled population, poor health to name but a few. The drivers coming out of the perfect storm can now be defined – rise of women – cultural dynamics of education and employment – and the growing income insecurity of our state.
Jan Figart, M.S., R.N., associate director and senior planner at the Community Service Council of Greater Tulsa will describe the issues in a lighthearted fashion to encourage the audience to think constructively on how to engage these changes in our community.
April 16 – Boost your career development and confidence through professional accreditation – Speakers: Ginger Homan, ABC, and Kristen Turley, APR | 11:30am | Philbrook Museum of Art | Online Registration will be available soon.
You’re talented, experienced and have lots of lessons learned under your belt. So, is it important to have some letters after your name like ABC, APR or CFRE?
Join Ginger Homan, ABC from the International Association of Business Communicators, Kristen Turley, APR from the Public Relations Society of America and a representative from the Association of Fundraising Professionals as they talk about their respective accreditation programs and share the value and paybacks they have gained from going through this process.
